We need applications for highly motivated individuals to conduct research on the same level as master or as a paid internship in a collaborative project between the Laboratory of Behaviour Genetics (Prof. Carmen Sandi) and the Laboratory of Cognitive Neuroscience (Professor Olaf Blanke) Upon the Brain Mind Institute, Switzerland Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland.

The project is a work of translation to extend our observations in rodents to the paradigm of human behavior. The project aims to establish experimental conditions to assess the establishment of social hierarchies in humans and to test the impact of social hierarchies in different behavioral tasks. The ultimate goal is to supplement the information developed by imaging and / or virtual reality techniques.
Candidates must have good training in psychology or (recommended) or behavioral neuroscience. The value of bringing these two areas and experience in methods of social psychology would be an asset.

Good command of English and French is desirable.
